Matt Kuchar’s victory at The Players Championship was a big one, not only for him but for Bridgestone Golf. The company is best known for Tour B330 golf balls – Kuchar played a Tour B330-S – but the victory should give its terrific equipment line more visibility.

Kuchar played a Bridgestone J40 430 driver (9.5 degrees), black J40 Cavity Back irons (5-PW) and black J40 wedges (52 degrees and 60 degrees).
While the J40 irons are available to the public, the black version is not. Basically the black J40 irons feature a raw finish that Kuchar prefers.
